![]() Heal, the leading app in doctor house calls is now expanding its services. The Heal Health Network aims to bring patients, primary care, and all providers together for the first time. In addition to qualified doctors, Heal’s on-demand platform now offers curated services like lactation consulting and soon physical therapy. These services are often prescribed or recommended by doctors, but difficult for patients to find, schedule, and coordinate. With HHN, doctors through Heal can recommend curated and vetted providers to patients who can now receive lactation guidance, and other services conveniently at their home or office. “The Heal Health Network finally closes the loop between patients, doctors, and health services providers for the first time,” said Dr. Renee Dua M.D, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder at Heal. “As many of us know, it’s hard enough having back pain, or a new baby to care for. It’s even harder having to wait three weeks, on average, to see a doctor only to find out you have to wait again and commute someplace else to get physical therapy or lactation services. We’re making it so everything comes to you on your schedule." "Soon, if you wake up with back pain, you can see a Heal doctor and get physical therapy, all without leaving the privacy of your home or office, all on the same day. More importantly, the care between you, your doctor and your therapist are now coordinated so your doctor can recommend a health service provider and then your service provider can keep your doctor up-to-date on progress, in real time.”
As of today, highly-qualified, highly-vetted lactation consultants are available to patients in California 365 days a year, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., through a simple request via the Heal mobile app or website. Rates will range from $80 to $199 per session and these health service providers will be available in two to 24 hours. Click here for more info.
