Think of this as more of a post to help you keep your computer in good working order, if that helps. Some people actually do want to ruin their computer so that they can claim on their insurance, although we wouldn’t recommend doing anything dishonest like that! Read on to to find out how to completely ruin your computer: Drop It![]() Dropping your computer is probably going to shake some of the components up that live inside of your machine. It might not obliterate your computer, but it’ll definitely do some damage depending on the drop. Some insurance policies state that if your computer naturally breaks you aren’t covered, but if you drop it on accident and it’s your fault then you are. This is why so many people decide to ‘accidentally’ drop their machines. Just make sure you read through your policy thoroughly first. Spill Something On ItIf you always leave a drink close to your computer, you’re already pretty close to causing some damage. Spilling something on your computer could definitely cause irreparable damage. Whether it’s a glass of water, sticky orange juice, or coffee doesn’t matter. Whatever you spill is likely to cause problems. Get A VirusYou could purposely give your computer a virus, if you find the right links to click on. Some machines are naturally well protected, but even they can’t withstand some of the worst viruses out there. It shouldn’t be hard to find them if you look properly! Leave It Around Kids or PetsPets and kids don’t have much concept of what can damage a computer and what can’t. They can cause a hell of a lot of damage to things like computers, even when they’re not trying to. If you want to ruin your computer, all you really have to use is let a child use it.
