We live in an ever moving world where we're always on the go with a rare break.
Weâre always stressed out. Weâve always got a huge to-do list, and we very rarely get a chance to take a break.
When I was in the military there was this phrase we used called "Hurry Up and Wait." That same thing applies to adulting. We are fighting traffic, rushing and more often than not, we find ourselves waiting hen we reach our appointments.
We sit on trains waiting to reach our destinations. We wait for other people, and we wait for meetings to start. We wait for the oven to ping, and we wait for the washing to finish.
This waiting can be quite stressful. It can also make you feel somewhat guilty. When youâve got so much going on, being forced to wait can be awful. Sometimes, itâs worse when you are only waiting for a short time. Long enough to log on for a quick game on Bitcasino but not long enough to get work done or do anything significant. Sometimes, the best way to pass the time and take your mind off everything else is with a game, and now that most of us have a smartphone, easy, addictive games are very easy to find.
Usually, addictive and easy games come and go. They become very popular exceptionally quickly and then die away just as quickly. Candy Crush is not one of these games. Itâs been around for years now, and haseven ended relationships!
I don't personally play this game, but I have plenty of friends who still lose hours to its quirky brand of fun, crushing candy by switching colors to create simple patterns and pairs. Itâs delightfully easy, colorful and terribly frustrating. Itâs also filled with happy music thatâs sure to bring a smile and ease any stress that you may be feeling.
Temple run is another exceptionally simple game. The aim is to run as far as you can, jumping, ducking and turning to avoid obstacles along your way, collecting coins and power-ups as you go. The original temple run featured an Indiana Jones style character, but it has since branched out, and many well-known franchises have their own version of a simple running game. Popular with kids and adults alike and available on most phones, temple run and games like it are a great way to waste some time.
Who knew crossing a road in busy traffic could actually be relaxing. A good way to teach children how to cross the road it is not, but Crossy Road is a fantastic way to chill out and lose a few minutes. Youâll choose a character and then simply tap your screen to make it take a step forward. Along your journey, youâll come to busy roads, where you must time your steps to avoid traffic. Easy, frustrating and strangely exciting, this one is definitely addictive.
â This game is also available on Roku TV, a nice distraction while you are binge watching Better Call Saul and Black Mirror.
Words With Friends
Even if youâve never played it, you might have seen your friends bragging about their words with friends scores on social media. Think of it as Scrabble for the modern age, as well as a great chance to chat with new people. In fact, words with friends has led to many new relationships and friendships as people bond over their enjoyment of the game. Personally, I'm not great at this game so I will only play with strangers, not friends.
The only game I play every day, WOODY is soooo soothing! WOODY is a new artisan relaxing block puzzle. The game was designed to help you emotionally re-charge, reduce stress and increase positive social interactions. WOODY is a 10x10 wooden jigsaw making your brain healthy for a happy life.
