First-person shooter games really are popular at the moment. There are so many different shooting styles available and some of them are console exclusives as well. The problem with these types of games is that you usually get people who are either very good or very bad. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground so if you want to try and boost your performance then you will need to take advantage of a few helpful hints and tips.
Work on Your Aim
If you don’t aim properly or if you fire at will then you’ll be toast in time. If you have suppressive fire then this is the only exception. One mistake that a lot of people make is that they fire before they have their aim set. You should never ever fire until you have a clear shot because if an enemy doesn’t know where you are then they can’t fire at you. This is great if you are playing a stealth shooter, where you have to play most of the game in the shadows. If you’re a hopeless shot then TKO Hacks have an aim bot that you can use.
If you were on target and you still end up missing then this can make the whole gaming experience much harder for you. The main thing that you have to do here is change your weapon. Some weapons are much more effective at shorter ranges when compared to longer ranges, and this can really have an impact on your shooting. If you are shooting at a distance for example then you need to account for bullet drop and wind speed in some games, but choosing a rifle that is more capable at longer ranges can help you with this.
Know The Maps
Another thing that you need to do is take into account the map that you are on. If you are
wandering around aimlessly then this can make it much harder for you to be strategic. If you are able to get on an open map without any other people there then try and explore. Make sure that you find some nice vantage points and always take into account where you can be shot from.
Running vs Walking
If you are on a very aggressive shooting game then you need to run, everywhere. If you don’t run then you are essentially making yourself a target and this is the last thing that you need. If you are playing a stealth-based shooting game then walking is the way to go as you will make way less noise. If you can add some perks to make your footsteps quieter then this is well worth doing, as most of the time, players can hear you before they actually see you.
All in all, becoming a better shooter isn’t overly difficult, and a little dedication is all you really need to step things up to that next level. Fast-advance DLC packages are also great, as they can give you access to new unlock-able perks, weapons and more.
