![]() Taking place this year from June 13-15 is the E3 three-day gaming world marathon in Los Angeles. It’s where the massive giants of the gaming industry will announce all the projects they’ve been working on behind closed door. The gaming industry has now surpassed the film industry in Hollywood as a most money-making industry. Every technology company worth their weight in salt will want to book their spot in the multiple halls and arenas to lure consumers in and have a look, test and potentially buy their wares. Some of the biggest names in the industry will take their rightful and usual spots in the marathon timetable, this of course means, Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Capcom, Namco Bandai and Epic Games will all be in attendance. However, there’s so much to watch out for, but here’s a rundown of the most anticipated events on the calendar. New Assassin's Creed GameAn expansion to the Assassin’s Creed series has been confirmed, by the studio author Ubisoft. During an earnings briefing, the company formally announced that a new game might be unveiled at the Electronics Entertainment Expo i.e. E3. Ubisoft staff sent out an email on May 16, asking followers of the franchise to stay tuned for what might happen at E3. An image was included in the message showing the Assassin’s Creed logo in a shimmer gold color with a deep blue sea scheme as the background. The Assassin’s Creed movie was released in 2016, with Michael Fassbender taking the lead role of the assassin. The film was greenlit, and given a staggering budget of $125 million dollars. It eventually doubled that figure into its overall global revenue. A PC Gaming Revival![]() E3 is around the corner, but another gaming show has been confirmed also. The PC Gaming Show is making it’s comeback one day before the proceedings at E3. Giving PC games a head start to get a glimpse of all the new tech, software, and games for the PC market. Starting on June 12 at 1 PM ET just prior to the Sony briefing PC gamers will get to discuss and test various games and new software with the developers and project managers. With the release of Battlefield 1 and a new Unreal Tournament Online soon to be released using the latest Unreal Engine 4, PC gamers will be enthralled with a technology extravaganza. Many new people are getting into the genre, but what has always put the majority of consumers off is the complexity of modern high-performance computers. The market of ready-made computers geared towards gaming and streaming has been growing really well. If you’re interested, there are companies out there that offer professionally-built PCs for your next gaming setup. Far Cry 5 ![]() What shocked many people this week, was Ubisoft release four different trailers for their next-in-series evolution of the Far Cry series. Not much is known of the game yet, but Ubisoft will hold a worldwide online unveiling on May 28. What looks to be set in the Midwest, bible belt state of Montana, Far Cry 5 takes on a creepy undertone of isolation, violence and a cult-like craze. Leave a Reply. |
