Everyone loves gadgets right? With every passing year, it feels like we're getting closer and closer to a world where we're really living in the future that had previously only belonged in science-fiction. But no matter how many incredible advances in technology that we're all aware of, there are some that, for one reason or another, slip under the public radar With that in mind, here are some incredible and forward thinking pieces of tech that you might not even know existed.
The Cicret Bracelet
Okay so this is technically still in development, but it is very close to being a reality. This utterly mind-bending piece of tech uses interactive projection and syncs up to your device to create a screen directly onto your arm. Not only does this feel like something out of our wildest sci-fi dreams but could impact the way that many devices are designed. It could even remove the need for things like smartphones to have screens at all!
This might not be the kind of thing that will change people's everyday lives, which is probably the reason that many people tend to ignore them but these remarkable pieces of tech have allowed us to explore areas of the oceans that human beings could never hope to reach. With some pretty remarkable ROV thruster technology, the can be controlled from the land and go to the kinds of depths that no one has ever been able to reach before.
The Deka Arm
Not quite a standard piece of consumer tech but still an amazing advancement. The Deka Arm is another step towards having true bionic limbs. It interprets signals from the muscle fibers in the wearer's arm which offers those with missing limbs far more movement and precision than ever before. It's not currently available to the public, but it's a very clear sign of how far technology will soon be able to go.
Anyone who's ever dreamed of traveling the world will love these extraordinary earphones. These little buds are designed to allow people to easily communicate, even if they don't speak the same language. They do this by translating what is being said in real time. If both participants in the conversation wear them at once, they can hold entire conversations in two different languages while still being able to understand each other perfectly! If you've ever wanted to visit another country but were put off by the language barrier, then this is the perfect piece of tech for you.
