It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Thursday in ten cities across the country, Uber, the car service hailing app teamed up with Home Depot to deliver a “very limited” supply of Christmas trees to a lucky group of users.
I say lucky because in the past during similar marketing events, Uber users had to try SEVERAL times in order to snag swag due to high demand.
#UberTree deliveries were held in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco and Washington, DC.
“Instead of spending your weekend wrestling with a tree from the not-so-near farm or slushy street corner, kick back, pour yourself an extra glass of eggnog and watch your app as Uber takes care of the heavy lifting,” Uber said in a blog post .
Previously Uber has offered similar promotions delivering Mariachi bands and ice cream trucks.
For a flat fee of $135, users received a 7-8 foot tree. See more details below:
