startup stories, trends and digital lifestyle hacks
Obviously, I wouldn’t encourage procrastinating whilst you should be working, but when you’ve next got a long lunch break and nothing to do, there’s some great tech you could be sinking your teeth into. Not literally, of course, but there are some truly sweet advancements in modern technology to get excited about when you’ve next got time to kill and you’re bored of staring at the wall for thirty minutes. If you’re wondering what the best ways to procras-tech-nate might be, here are just a few.
You’ve got time to kill and a computer sitting right in front of you. Online gaming could be a great way to pass the time whilst you’re feeling trapped in your office or small, cramped cubicle. Perhaps options such as Pokémon Go wouldn’t really be the best idea when you’re restricted to a tiny office area, but a little bit of online betting if done responsibly is a great way to get the adrenaline pumping and your mind working again in your break.
You might actually focus more than you do on your job when a lot of money is at stake. Still, maybe you’d rather take a more peaceful route during your break and play some of the classic browser flash games on classic sites such as Miniclip. These traditional, mini, fun games haven’t gone out of style just yet. They might look a little outdated in comparison with the graphical abilities of an Xbox One, but there’s something endearing about the charm of a fun little flash game; plus, everybody knows that they’re the ‘go-to’ game when it comes to taking breaks during work or school.
The latest in apps
Maybe that sounds like a very boring way to spend your break, but we’re all a little bit vainer than we might let on. Plus, with the future knocking at our doors, there’s some intriguing new technology over the horizon which might just change your attitude. 360-degree selfies are going to become a thing. Yes, you read that correctly. You’ve got a new way to procrastinate on your work breaks. If one angle wasn’t enough in your pictures, now you can capture every angle.
