The key is creating bespoke content which is relevant and not too spammy. You need to advertise, sure, but you also need to lure people in. If you struggle with writing articles then consider hiring a freelance writer at this point. Having an active business page will garner more likes and more shares, meaning more people will become aware. You can recycle content to different social media sites too, meaning you get the double the benefit from one article.
Search Engine Optimisation
You may have heard of this, or SEO as it is usually referred. It essentially means finding ways to ensure people can find your website. It is no good being eight pages down on the google search. You need to find ways of landing on the first page and above your competitors. It can be tough, and you may need to produce more content on your website to make the search engines pick it up more easily but it can be done. There are companies who specialise in this sort of thing if you think it is beyond your capabilities. You can get some affordable seo which can really increase the amount of people who use your products or services.
Know What Is Working
It is best to know where your customers are coming in from. Are they coming from a specific stream of advertising? Or perhaps from your new social media page? Knowing this means you know what works, and you can do more of the stuff that makes a difference and less of the stuff that doesn’t. If hardly anyone is coming to your site from a specific advertising location then stop paying for that kind of advertising, you can use the money elsewhere. Google Analytics is a great piece of tech that allows you to find all of this information out and make these decisions.
Build An App
For whatever kind of business you operate, there is likely a way you can incorporate an app into it somehow. App’s are all the rage these days and you can really let people know what you’re about and make a big statement by launching one.
Hardly new tech, but still effective. Again, don’t be spammy or you’ll just annoy people. Send news of your products and promotions to any email adress you think could be relevant. Perhaps you can purchase an email list off a relevant company, or speak to blog owners to see if they would be willing to slip a mention or link into one of theirs. By doing this you can target people who would be interested in your product.
